Waiting for the Waste is a series centered on the theme of “waiting,” using epoxy resin to encapsulate biodegradable materials as a way of recording the passage of time in biological experiments. The works reflect both material transformation and the temporality inherent in scientific processes.

The series consists of four parts, created with varying levels of technical refinement: “Brick,” “Kandinsky,” “Live Bar,” and “Fluorescence.” Among these, the Live Bar series is composed of twenty pieces that were collectively produced during a participatory bio-art experience, where audiences became co-creators of the work.

Through this layering of material, time, and collaboration, Waiting for the Waste bridges scientific experimentation and artistic expression, transforming ephemeral biological activity into enduring artistic artifacts.
